'Winter Princess'

It's not white, but from the moment I saw it finished, I thought:' Mountain Princess'. If you look at the peaks, you realize why 'mountain'. However, I found later that there was a tomato called 'Mountain Princess'!? What??? No way my soap will be named after some tomato!!!
That's how I tweaked its name to ' Winter Princess'. Here it is:
What? No way!

I am very thrilled with how this soap turned out. I was wondering whether I had ever made a more beautiful soap. My husband went even further, telling me that this one is the most beautiful soap he has ever seen. Of course it's not, but feels good to hear!

Fragrance: Can you guess what scent I used for this one? I'm not keeping you think long. It was Brown Sugar & Fig, another very popular scent among soap makers. Interesting, but I don't find it sweet at all. I don't know meaning of its name, considering sugar and fig don't have any particular distinctive scent. What do you think?
It has sweetness, but more tartness, it's bit fruity, bit floral, very well balanced between these.

It's been tricky these days to take good photos. I can not count on sunny days anymore and I'm taking them inside. However, I think these photos are decent and they conjure the real colours up.

Thanks for reading, my friends and have a nice weekend!

    1. It's a great fragrance and it doesn't discolours, so it means no over-sweetnes! Thanks Silvia!

    1. They do? That's what I first thought when I finished it! But, this darn tomato had 'stolen' my desirable name! Thanks Jenny!

  6. You do have the most creative names for your soaps Maja, your creativity knows no bounds. As for having the same name as a tomato, well I guess there could be worse things to be named after. It's really neat how the top of the soap is quite soft looking, kind of pastel-y in colour while the rest of it is very bold.

    Beautfiul as always and

  7. It looks like a little pink heart in the bottom of two soap, cute. If you still want to use Mountain Princess as a name for your soap, perhaps you could color if whit tomato. Then it would suit the name :D I love Brown Sugar and Fig Fo. I think it is my favorite, but I think it is warm and sweet. Not too sweet, but like vanilla. I can´t smell any flowery notes, just a very comforting warm scent.

    1. You see, fragrances with the same really differ. Here, no hint of vanilla. Although it stands on the description, you can't tell there is any. And the fragrance doesn't discolour at all, which is case with vanilla. It's kinda warm, but more tart. I really can't describe it better. Thanks Marika, I've missed your comments!

Više sam ljubitelj citrusa i cveća. Puno pozdrava!

Hvala ti!
