Одсекогаш и засекогаш популарниот мошус! 

Кога бев дете имаше цела колекција на мошуси, кои се викаа 'Wild Love', 'Exotic Love', 'Magic Love' и други врсти на љубов. Тие парфеми беа маслени и навистина многу јаки и убави. 

И покрај тоа што мошусот е базна нота на безброј парфеми, во кои ниту сонувате дека го има, постојат и оние со повеќе дистинктивен мирис на мошус.

Musk forever, it's everlasting, always popular and  inevitable. As a base note, irreplaceable.

And this one I like much,much. It's that type of fragrances I'm in love with- perfume like!

Без оглед на тоа дали и кој мошус го сакате, или не, овој мирис ќе ви се допадне, ако сакате слаткасти и цветни мириси. Мене лично ми е преубав, не можам да сокријам дека јас најмногу ги сакам сложените мирисни композиции, кои подсеќаат на парфеми. Е, таков е и овој.

Женствен, елегантен и отмен. И ве опколува со мирисен, мистичен облак.

Во состав на овој сапун влегоа ланолинот и ши путерот, како екстра хидрирачки состојки за ладните денови и природната свила, како уште еден луксузен додаток.
Топчињата и светките што се гледаат на сапунот се декоративни додатоци за торти и колачи, значи шеќерни се и тотално безопасни за вашата кожа.

My first attempt with this fragrance looked like this. Oh, how much I liked this soap. I was delighted with everything about it.

Isn't it beautiful?

It was,until the next day, when I had to face with the facts.

The first version

Проблемот со овој сапун беше што содата не беше добра и делуваше слабо врз маслата. Како резултат, добив мек сапун, со повеќе неизреагирани масла отколку што е потребно. Сакав да плачам, бидејќи многу ми се  допадна сапунот, но......се случуваат и такви работи, очигледно.

Овој мирис дефинитивно ќе стане едан од сталните во понудата на 'Diva Chique' линијата.

What went wrong with this soap? It was darn lye!
Some time ago, Cee asked me how I could tell if lye was bad. It was somehow weakened, gone off, I don't know, but obviously didn't do its job. How did I know?  I didn't .

At the moment of dissolving it, I noticed my silk fibers wouldn't dissolve completely, which should be the case. But, I was stupid careless enough to proceed and pour it into the oils. So basically, you can't know whether your lye is ok, but if you try to dissolve something in, it shows its efectiveness..

The next day I could cut the soap, but it was unusually soft. Soft and oily. Of course it was, the oil excess was so evident. I left it for a few days to monitor on it, but nothing changed. Except the soap was becoming darker. I never scent coloured portion if there is a minor suspect of discolouring, so the swirls stayed bright and nice, whilest the base colour was kind a caramel/light brown,- not very pretty.

Аnd finally, where did the beautiful soap go? As stuborn as I am, I wouldn't / couldn't let it go and toss it. 
I rebatched it once,.....still oily,......twice......lye heavy,.....third time...... fine! So, I got triple-milled soap without wanting it,  :-)
After all these rebatch processes, the fragrance didn't survive. It was still there, but so much modified, that you could never tell what it originated from.
Now it's a good soap, just not nearly as pretty as its ancestor, nor its successor. 

Here it is, its second life:

After this batch I was sure the main portion of the next one wouldn't be left uncoloured. The result is this new soap. I mean, what colour can you use to counteract vanilla. The choice is not wide, really.

You all might have thought by now I had given up on writing, but here I am, starting this year's blogging with a special occasion. I had promised to myself that my first post this year would be on soaps, but that post will hold on, due to this particular reason that just came up.

Now, SEVEN THINGS ABOUT ME

(that's the hardest part and the one I had been always refusing to obey)

1. I live in Macedonia, the country of my choice, not my origin.

2. I have University Diploma in Economics and I never thought I could do something manufactural for living (I still don't do it for living, but planning to)

3. I love 'Gossip Girl' . No matter how childish I may sound and no matter how many inconsistencies you will find in the show, I still love it!

4. I spent two months in Czech Republic, back in early two thousands, as an English Teacher. That was my University Traineeship, organized by the best (my opinion) world's student organization AIESEC, which is specializied in international students exchanges. Luckily, I had taught the first level of English, lol. That was one of the best experiences in my life

5. I'm a passionate in whatever occupies my mind. I'm kinda rigorous with myself - when I'm up to something, I don't feel tired, I don't know time, nor day...until I pull it off! Oh yeah, lately I've been thinking about aging, so try to get whatever I do into a reasonable frames of behaving. Reading is one of my biggest passion. I used to stay awake till next morning, reading and changing my lying position in the bed.

6. I would like to speak more languages than I do. I have completed five levels of Italian and that seems to be useful, cos I can recognize many words in Franch and Spanish, as well. Not to mention how many English words originated form Latin, i.e.Italian. Quite usefull to know languages! I adore Natalia for this knowledge of hers 

7. I   l.o.v.e. to sleep and I tend to think that I look young because I sleep enoguh. 

Now, that I have started, I could go on, but, let me stick to the rules!

New 'Miss Karota' and an ugly, but great soap

'MISS KAROTA' III

'Miss Karota' наскоро пак спремна за вас!
Сапун кој постојано се прави и троши, со 100% сок од свеже цедени моркови, многу ши путер и рицинусово масло, сапун од кој секогаш се бара парче повеќе!
Без мириси и бои!


I wasn't even sure if I should write a post on these two soaps, because one is a remake, the other one is quite ugly,lol!

The first soap for today is my 'Miss Karota' soap, restocked!

Of course, it changed its appearance once again!

This time, the black (activated charcoal) and turmeric (in place of annatto in previous versions) were poured with a spoon. 

It was made a month ago and soon, it will be available again.

It looked so cool in the mould:

This is probably the most popular soap of mine, and just a note to remind you- it's made with 100% carrot juice, loaded of shea butter and castor oil. Carrot juice makes such a great deep yellow colour in the finished bars, which doesn't fade with time.

Состав / Ingredients: Сапонифицирани масла/ Saponified oils - Маслиново (Sodium Оlivate), Кокосово (Sodium Cocoate), Палмино (Sodium Palmate), Рицинусово (Sodium Castorate ), Ши путер (Sodium Shea butterate), Сок од свеже цедени моркови (Fresh carrot juice), куркума (Curcuma longa powder),  активен јаглен (Activated charcoal).

'OMH+'

Овој сапун веќе е достапен во e-shop-от, обилува со додатоци- мед,куркума,овесни снегулки, зеолит, активен јаглен и е изврстен за мрсна кожа. Исто така, на нормална и мешовита кожа ќе и пружи адекватна нега. Направен е со 100% козјо млеко, без бои и мириси.
Обогатена верзија на основниот 'OMH' сапун, кој го имавме по понуда.
Моментално е мојот фаворит за лице!

The second soap is this ugly from the title, but I think its long additives list makes it really great soap.

Firstly, I called it 'Basic I' and later, I realized that it's basically OMH, with many additives. So, it bacame 'OMH+'

Its list of additives is as follows: zeolite (a detoxifying mineral ), turmeric powder, honey, goat milk, ground oatmeal, activated charcoal.

I didn't add any colour, nor scent, it's a plain facial wash soap and its colour comes from its ingredients

Zeolite has recently become very popular detoxifier and it is recommended for oral consumption, as well. 

I was going to get it and asked my friend Goca if she knew where it could be found. She'd already had plenty of it and was so generous to give me some of hers.

I have been using this soap for my face and it's my favourite at the moment. I believe the synergy of all components works excellent job for the skin. 

That's been all, people, no more soaps for this year!

'Pralina' & 'Milk'

'PRALINA'

За сите лубители на чоколадо, еве едно беспрекорно, со нула калории! 

Во него можете да уживате без грижи, колку што сакате. 

А ово чоколадо има вкус на пралина, или ’Ресана’, ’Јафа’, кој што повеќе сака.

Та-да-да-да- ’Пралина’

И пралина во модла:

Сега најјасно ќе видите како ванилата ја потемнува бојата на сапунот.

Во модлата и веднаш по сечењето, бојата е карамел.....

во следната фаза е потемно од карамел...


А сега (првата и сите слики отука надолу) е како право чоколадо.

Како изгледа, така и мириса!

Сакате повеќе чоколадо со млеко или јогурт?

Во овој случај е исто, затоа што ово чоколадо ги содржи двата.

Се разбира, и какао путер. Какво чоколадо би било без него???

Сапунот е богат со какао путер, а со козјото млеко, јогуртот и свилата, тој је погоден и за сува кожа. 

Сапунот кој ќе ве милува со своите состојки и који ќе ви ги разбуди сетилата со својот опоен мирис.
Секако, ако сакате да го испробате како тестер, овој пат колаче, еве ја ’Пралина’ мини

ВНИМАНИЕ: НЕ Е ЗА ЈАДЕЊЕ!

Вметнатите делови (срцињата и полњењето за мини сапуни) се направени од глицеринска база за сапуни. Ние такви бази не користиме за правење на сапуни, бидејќи, по квалитет тие не можат ниту да се приближат до сапуни правени рачно ’од А до Ш’, по природни пат. Тука се ставени како декоративен елемент.

Состав / Ingredients:  Сапонифицирани масла/ Saponified oils - Maслиново масло (Sodium olivate), Кокосово (Sodium Cocoate), Палмино (Sodium palmate), Рицинусово (Sodium Castorate), Какао путер (Sodium Cocoa butterate), козјо млеко (goat milk), јогурт (yogurt), природни пигменти (pigments), мирис (fragrance), природна свила (silk)

'MILK'

Вториот сапун е на прв поглед сосема различан од ’Пралина’. Тој нема мирис, ниту боја, но зато има 100% козјо млеко, многу какао путер и маслиново масло. Всушност, тие се слични по својот состав, освен што ’Милк’ е наменет за оние со исклучително осетлива кожа.
Она што го разликува од нашите други сапуни за чувстителна кожа е процентот на екстра девственото маслоново масло, кое се смета за најблаго за тој тип на кожа. Во овој сапун го има повеќе од 50%. Поради таа причина и намалениот процент на кокосово масло, пената ќе биде поблага, покрамаста, а сапунот понежен за оние што патат од разни кожни аномалии и проблеми. Секако, и со намалената пена, нашите сапуни пенат и негуваат многу подобро од оние ’рачно правени сапуни’, кои се направени од готова сапунска база, во која е додадено млеко во прав.

'Milk' во модла:

Кај овој сапун, како што гледате, нема ништа 'fancy', е без бои и мириси , но баш пораиди тоа, мене ме воодушевува.

Веќе знаете од минатите постови колку козјото млеко ја негува кожата, како ја омекнува  и колку е погодно за сите типови. Од друга страна, какао путерот, со кој сапунот обилува е екстра додаток, кој го чини сапунот исклучително нежен. Сите негови сосотојки се вкомпонирани да овој сапун ви биде најдобар избор, ако имате сува, и/или осетлива кожа.

Сапунот кој освојува со својата едноставност, предобри состојки, мазна текстура и беспрекорна белина која ве мази, чисти и негува.

Го нареков 'Milk' бидејќи највеќе ме асоцира на млеко- бел е и содржи 100% млеко во својот состав.

You must be enjoying the holiday season and probably don't think much of soap, but my work for this year hasn't been done yet! I'll be short this time, not wanting to take much of your holiday time!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas day, fulfilled with love, joy and happiness! 

For those who don't know, we celebrate it by Julian calendar, on 6.Jan (7.Jan is the Christmas), so we are still in the pre-holiday moods. 

Back to soaps now.

This time, two soaps to present.

They are actually more alike than it looks. 

They both contain goat milk, but 'Milk' has it at 100%, both have cocoa butter and lot of extra virgin olive oil. 

'Pralina' smells like Chocolate&Orange, 'Milk' is fragrance free. 

For the first time, I used M&P base for the embeds, it was kind of fun, but I think I will stick to my CP soap :-)  I also tried to show the gradient darkening of 'Pralina', which now looks like a real chocolate. The original colour was caramel like and it didn't suit it well!

I'm not sure whether I can make it to publish more posts this year, but just in case I don't-

'Natalie'

Ова е еден посебен сапун!

Посебен е по начинот на кој настана, по она што се му ставив и на кого му е посветен!

Како прво, да кажам дека овој носи зелена лентичка, која го обележува неговото 100% природно потекло. Впрочем, обоен е со билки, глини и намирисан со етерични масла.
This is one very special soap!
What makes it special is its ingredient list and the person who it is dedicated to!
Made as an ode to a friendship, it is representing this person, meaning it's 100% natural, containing only plants, herbs clay and essential oils.
Presenting.....

Сапунот 'Natalie'  е посветен на мојата прекрасна пријателка од Белгија, која се потруди овој сапун да постои. Не е прв пат  Наталија да ми праќа состојки кои не можам да ги најдам тука, но летово, таа ми прати и повеќе отколку се надевав. Но, да видиме од што се овие слоеви во сапунот:

• Алканет,  (Alcanna Tinctoria)-  билка која што со векови се користи за боење, но тука ја нема. Алканет поинаку се вика волков јазик и се уште не успеав да дознаам дали и каде расте во Македонија. Од неа се добива виолетова и сива во сите нијанси. Јас добив виолетова, скоро индиго сина боја.
• Плава руска глина (Blue Russian Cambrian Clay)- глина која е една од најретките и исклучително ценета по своите терапевтски способности. Се смета за блага глина која може да се употребува секој ден, а богата е со минерали и до пет пати повеќе отколку што има во калта од Црното море. Ги подобрува сите аномалии на кожата -псоријаза, егземи, дерматитиси, ja oмекнува кожата и придонесува за нејзин подобар изглед. Нејзината боја доаѓа од алгите, железото и цинкот.
• Жолта глина-  богата со минерали, се користи за детоксификација на кожата, бидејќи ги абсорбира отровите, ја стимулира оксигенизацијата на клетки.
• Aнато (Annato seed)- природен колорант, кој Наталија ми го прати лани
• Црвена глина- како и останатите глини, и оваа ја прочистува кожата, ги одстранува мртвите клетки од порите,  ја зацврснува и ја прави да изгледа младо, свежо и затегнато.

Сапун во модла:

I couldn't think of better name for this soap than 'Natalie', or originally Natalia!
All you see on this colourful soap, my dear, gorgeous friend sent me (and this is the layers order, starting from the bottom ):

• Alkanet
• Blue Russian (Cambrian) clay
• Yellow clay
• Annatto seed
• Red clay

All of them (except annatto seed, which she had sent me earlier), Natalia sent me this summer, when she was travelling around. Can you believe it that she was taking this package of 'goodies' for me across half of Europe and finally sent it from Albania. Totally unbelievable! My beautiful, crazy, sweet Natalia!

Не знаев за подобро име за овој сапун од Наталија! Се во него ме асоцира само на неа.
Најмалце што можам да сторам како мал знак на блаодарност е да и пратам парче. Се надевам дека ќе и се допадне кога ќе почне да го користи.

Исто така, се надевам дека  и на вас ви се допада овoј слоевит сапун.

Сапунот мириса на комбинација етерични масла од лаванда, рузмарин и нане- прекрасна 'зелена' мешавина.

Покрај овие глини, сапунот е по састав нежен, бидејќи обилува со козјо млеко, ши путер и по прв пат во сапун, сусамово масло. Сусамовото масло веќе го користев за оваа крема, така да неговите карактеристики можете да ги најдете тука .

Свилата се подразбира!

There is no way I could thank her properly, but I hope she will be visiting this region again and finally come to visit me. By then, I can only send her a piece of my love and gratitude packed into a little parcel! And name the soap after her! :-)
I took me quite long to publish this post (the soap is all cured now), mainly for the reason I had thought I would sent it away sooner. Unfortunately, I've been on a roller coaster lately, and I really want to sneak something special into the parcel. I hope she will like it!

Глините, по својот состав воглавно се прилагодени за секој тип на кожа, иако постојат некои препораки, (нпр. зелена за мрсна, бела за сува кожа), но овој сапун е идеален за сите типови на кожа.

'Winter Princess'

Добро, не е баш бел за да биде ’зимска принцеза’, но јас откако го завршив овој сапун, првата мисла ми беше: 'Mountain Princess'. Кога ги погледнете врвовите, сосема е јасно зошто ме асоцираат на планина.
It's not white, but from the moment I saw it finished, I thought:' Mountain Princess'. If you look at the peaks, you realize why 'mountain'. However, I found later that there was a tomato called 'Mountain Princess'!? What??? No way my soap will be named after some tomato!!!
That's how I tweaked its name to ' Winter Princess'. Here it is:
Но, покасно дознав дека така се вика едан тип на домати. What? No way! Нема шанси мојот сапун да се вика како некој домат! Така тој стана '’Зимска принцеза’!

И... 'принцезата во модла'

Откако го исеков сапунот, бев толку восхитена со неговиот изглед и си помислив:’ Дали некогаш сам направила поубав?’  Мажот ми смета дека ова е најубав сапун кој тој го некогаш видел.  Се разбира дека не е, но сепак сум му благодарна на комплиментот.

I am very thrilled with how this soap turned out. I was wondering whether I had ever made a more beautiful soap. My husband went even further, telling me that this one is the most beautiful soap he has ever seen. Of course it's not, but feels good to hear!

Сапунот е  направен со ши путер, козјо млеко и, се разбира, со чиста, природна свила, која стана неизоставна состојка на нашите сапуни.

Мирис: Мирисот се вика ’Кафеав шеќер и смоква’, но ни сама не знам зошто. Нема врска ни со шеќер, ниту со смоква (но, како ли смоква воопшто и мириса??!). Ова е уште еден од топ мирисите по који владее вечита помама во светот, и јас морав до го имам. Тој е копија на истоимен мирис од 'Bath&BodyWorks'.
Да ви го опишам е тешко, но наспроти очекуваното, ниту е сладок, ниту тежок. Поточно, по описот тој е мешавина на смокви (?), праски и маракуја. Средни ноти се цветни, додека во базни ноти имаме карамел, ванила, мошус. Ни малку не е сладок, како би се очекувало, тој е нека избалансирана мешавина на слаткасто-свежи ноти.

Fragrance: Can you guess what scent I used for this one? I'm not keeping you think long. It was Brown Sugar & Fig, another very popular scent among soap makers. Interesting, but I don't find it sweet at all. I don't know meaning of its name, considering sugar and fig don't have any particular distinctive scent. What do you think?
It has sweetness, but more tartness, it's bit fruity, bit floral, very well balanced between these.

Овој сапун е наменет за сите типови на кожа, а по мирисот, тој е одличен избор за двата пола.

It's been tricky these days to take good photos. I can not count on sunny days anymore and I'm taking them inside. However, I think these photos are decent and they conjure the real colours up.

While prepraring new blog post on a soap I like,like,like, I want to show you what I've been up to lately and what's been taking my time, energy and efforts

Before I start, I have an announcement to make: I finally have opened my e-shop on my Facebook page.  You can take a look if you like!

Then, I started a web site and it also has been taking me long. 

It's not finished yet, I hope I will able to connect it with the storefront without Facebook intermediating/ directing customers to facebook.

Ok, now back to the subject.

I came up with an idea of packing my soaps into small and bigger sets/ boxes and since I still haven't found any good supplier (I might have found one, we'll see what he's going to offer) for the boxes, I decided to give myself a try.

Every box here was made by me and whilst the small ones are easy-peasy to construct and fold, the big ones are such a pain.

Let me show you first my single soap package:

'Beloved'

'Natural Diva' soaps look differently. This picture is old and since then, I changed the labels and now they look the same as these above.

Now, the reason I started this post at first place!

'Diva boxes':

My first set looked like this: 

4 soaps, 4 sugar scrub cubes, 1 solid body butter

And, in details:

many goodies inside

I liked this one

When I managed to get all ingredients (the flavour) and sticks for lip balms, I made some lip balms. Here it is packaging for those:

Then, I made a 'Mini Diva Set', containing one soap and one lip balm.

It's such a cutie and it makes an interesting gift

I forgot to take a picture of pink 'Mini set', but apparently, I'm going to make another ones.

And after all, a custom order got me make a specific set, which I called 'All-in-one'.

this one is with two butters- one whipped shea and one solid

I need to give a credit to my favouriteYT channel , when it comes to packaging. That's Sam Donald's and I find it so inspirational. The lady can make just anything!

My small boxes for sugar scrubs, body butters and mini set box, were all  inspired by her work.

However, my lip balm packaging was all mine and I'm little proud of it.

Once, you set up your mind onto making boxes, ideas overflow!

I still have to make new boxes, as the holidays are coming and (I don't know if it's bad or good??!) I'm running out of soaps!

The more boxes I make, the less time for soaping!

If I only could multiplicate myself!
